![]() Findings of this study shows that Dividend per Share, Earnings per Share and Return on Equity has a positive and statistically significant effect on Market Share Price 5% significance level. Inferential statistics of the hypotheses were carried out with the aid of E-view 9.0 statistical software using Coefficient of correlation and Simple Linear Regression (SLR) analysis. Secondary data were sourced from the publications of Nigeria stock exchange. Ex-post fact research design was used for this study. The specific objectives are to ascertain the effect or otherwise of Dividend per share, Earnings per Share and Return on Equity on Market Share price of ICT firms listed on the floor of Nigeria Stock. The main objective of this study is to ascertain the effect of Accounting Information on Market Share Price of Information, Communication and Technology (ICT) firms listed on Nigeria Stock Exchange. Some guidelines may be offered on how to interpret (but really all can have the same way of interpreting) outputs from such analysis and thus pointing out what is key to revealing the findings of your research or data analysis. This is to guide those who have no theoretical background in statistics but are just users of statistics. The next book will discuss the statistical techniques/tool, their assumptions and when to use them. We believe that this book will help students who use statistical theory to be comfortable with using statistical software to do their analysis and be confident to match the demands of research, industry and the fast technological advancement in bridging the gap between theory and modernization. Additionally, students are given some trial questions for practice. Thus, in the use of both softwares, we illustrated descriptive statistics and inferential statistical procedures pertaining to a particular data set and objectives. The next section introduces MINITAB, which also was used to illustrate all the analysis carried out with SPSS. Assumptions (necessary conditions that should be satisfied) are also reviewed alongside each test. The procedures involved in each of these tests are illustrated and the results interpreted. Subsequently, statistical tests/techniques are illustrated under to main groups: those used to explore relationships among variables and those that are used to compare groups of variables or populations. How to run descriptive statistics and various types of graphs/chart associated with data exploration are demonstrated using live data. An overview of how data is entered in SPSS is illustrated from scratch. The introductory part of this book reviews some basics of statistics and data handling. This book comes to remove the fear of handling a computer in solving statistical problems and also simplify the procedures involved in using the SPSS and MINITAB softwares thereby bridging the gap between ICT and statistical theory. ![]() Students have always yearned for a book to help them understand and apply the theoretical statistics using statistical software via a computer. Data analysis with SPSS and MINITAB is for all students at the undergraduate university level and a preparatory practical guide on basic statistical methods for graduate study and research work.
